A Veg Pulao is basically an easy rice based dish made with spices , herbs, vegetables in a pot. Additionally there are non-vegetarian versions of pulao too. The veg pulao is a very most dish is made often in many Indian homes you will find it always on the party, buffet, Dinner, lunch, marriages,

How to make veg pulao

Veg pulao Ingredients:

  • basmati rice ( big grain)
  • Tomatoes 
  • potatoes
  • peas
  • Beans
  • carrot
  • Cauli flower
  • garlic
  • Ginger 
  • Fresh green coriander 
  • Salt
  • Red chilly powder
  • Turmeric powder
  • Gram masala 
  • Pav bhaji masala (Optional)
  • Capsicum pulao
  • Green chilly 
  • cumin seeds 
  • Sweet corn 
  • black pepper 
  • bay leaf 
  • Green cardamon 
  • Cinnamon 
  • cloves

Preparation: Take a deep pan Add the basmati rice and water and then soak for 2-3 hours. 
While the rice is soaking, prepare the veggies for the pulao. It will be make sure the veggies chopped into the small cubes. Cauliflower cut into medium size,  Peel, rinse, and thinly slice large onion. keep all the whole spices aside. From the below list of spices, you can skip black peppercorns, black cardamom, star anise and mace. Take Mixer grinder jar and make a paste of  garlic cloves, green chilly and ginger. 

 
Procedure: Take a deep pan Add some butter/oil in it. After hot it add the ginger garlic paste and also add remaining hot spices. make it brown and wait till they release fragrance. Then after add that sliced cutted onions make it light brown in color. Saute the onion until then golden. Then after add that chopped onions in it . mix and Saute for 2-3 minutes on a low heat. Now add all the chopped veggies, salt  and also add chopped fresh coriander. Mix and Saute again 5-7 minutes on a law flame. It will be make sure the veggies can not be Raw other wise the dish will not be perfect for eating  (important step). Add that soaked rice and water. Mix it well and properly. Add some lemon juice in it. In the end we will add the dry spices like red chilly powder, Turmeric powder, pav bhaji masala (optional) and Gram masala mix it well. Cover and cook untill they absorbed the water. A need of water depend on the variety of water. tasty pulao is ready. 


Surveying: This dish u will serve with raita ,papad and also pixel.
